video generator chain : osc = > distort = > procedural ocean = > procedural wave visualization. result is a tiled wave pattern that looks kind of like ocean waves, but generated from a sound. the audio distortion sounds sharp and gritty, and looks great as a visual distortion as well.

from my video generator chain. an ocean wave pattern but generated from a distorted oscillator. the distortion sounds sharp and gritty, so the resulting waves are fuzzy and foamy.
